I am a fourth year Psychology (Honours) student at the University of South Australia and in the midst of completing a Summer Vacation Research Scholarship with CAIN. I am highly passionate about reducing stigma and raising awareness of psychological and neurological conditions through education. This summer, I was involved in the development of South Australia’s first dementia friendly school program, ‘Forget Me Not’. This program aims to bridge the gap between the young and the elderly through education and creativity. I anticipate to evaluate the effectiveness of this program as part of my Honours project in 2018.
